I had radio denervation some 17 months ago and i have had a svere neuropathic flair up following surgery. this has caused me extreme pain and has not changed in the last 5 to 6 months so i suspect the pain level i have at this point(7/10) i will be stuck with for the rest of my life. Now i had 8 points of denervation 4 either side of my thoracic spine, now im not a DR. but i would have thought that was excessive when the pain could be located down to 2 joints both having bulging discs on mri scans and was wondering if someone might want to use me as a case study and advise me on wether the DR. was gungho or not in doing so many injections, now i ask this because my DR. here in Melbuorne Australia ( PAUL VERRILLS METRO SPINAL CLINIC ) doesnt seem interested in me now and i realy need some help and advise. Now the pain i have gone through has been debillitating and has ruined my life, so i would advise anybody considering radio denervation to put up with the pain they have now until such time as an operation to replace discs or fuse joints, titanium inserts or whatever is required rather than have R.F.D.

At least 34 million Americans suffer from chronic pain caused by conditions including arthritis, lower back problems, neuralgia, or migraine headaches. Some 15 million working Americans have pain on a chronic basis.
Having injured my back this summer, I have come to learn a lot about pain firsthand. Pain can be hard to define. It means different things to different people and your own perception of pain can change over time. For some people, acknowledging pain is a sign of weakness. What most people don't realize is that pain is a medical problem -- and that it can be treated.
How do you measure your pain? It is difficult. No lab tests or X-rays can convey to your doctor what you are feeling , it indicates findrxonline in his article about this topic. But even when pain is intense, many people struggle to find the words to describe it to the doctor. It is important to understand whether you suffer from acute or chronic pain.

There are different views on fibromyalgia although all are based on the constant pain that produces the disease and although not yet really know the accurate cure for it, I have my father suffering from this disease and I am interested in the topic to be able to help their pain to dissipate in any way and have read many books on fibromyalgia and chronic pain and to find findrxonline indicate that opioid narcotics for pain control are excerpts from the opium and are very effective and are commonly used to control and remove moderate to severe pain, these drugs are controlled NARCOTICS opioids which required a medical prescription.

To control the pain we must attend to the specialist because we can give him what is appropriate and what we need, for example I take hydrocodone, vicodin which is medicine used to counter the chronic pain that I have for years, but I rioja prescribing doctor, I take it in moderation because I read in findrxonline which is a medicine that causes anxiety, and we must control it as it can affect your nervous system, so do not take medicines without consultation because it really can be dangerous.

I'm scheduled to have radio frequency denervation (for cervical, occipital nerve problems leading to headaches) and I'm wondering if anyone has ever had the procedure and ended up worse than before.
